Visa Requirements

Before visiting Taiwan, please check your visa requirements and make sure you have a valid visa, if applicable.

Visa Application

Foreign nationals may obtain tourist visas if they hold foreign passports or travel documents valid for more than six months in the Republic of China for purposes of sightseeing, business, family visits, study or training, medical treatment, or other legitimate activities. Visa requirements included one completed application form, incoming and outgoing travel tickets, one photo, documents verifying the purpose of the visits, and other relevant documents. The Visitor Visa Application Form can be downloaded from the website of the Bureau of Consular Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The completed form should be submitted to an overseas mission of the Republic of China for visa issuance.

Invitation Letters

IMPORTANT: Visa letters will only be issued once you have registered for the conference and paid all necessary fees.

Once you complete your registration, the invitation letter will be sent to you via email.

The Conference cannot contact or intervene with any Embassy or Consulate office abroad on your behalf so please begin your visa application process as soon as you determine that you want to attend the IEEE UFFC-JS 2024. Please provide as much information as possible to avoid delays in receiving your letter. You must register for the conference before requesting an invitation letter.
